AoS song featured in festival-winning new film

The Cross, a new film currently killing it at festivals around the world, features the AoS song I Am One in the closing credits. The short, brought to you by The Grinman Brothers and starring our friend Dennis Hall, is currently streaming at Vimeo here, has already won Best Director for a short at the Sunset Film Festival in L.A. as well as best Director for a short film in the Mexico International Film Festival. Congrats guys, and thanks for the exposure!

AOS LIVE at EL CID MAY 12

On May 12th, Saturday, AoS will play a show in Silverlake at EL CID, 4212 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles 90029.

Doors at 9, our show starts at 10:30. Come and hear some songs from the new album coming in early fall.

AoS awarded ASCAPlus songwriters award for fourth straight year!

Happy to announce that today we were awarded (for the fourth year in a row) an ASCAPlus songwriter's award! The letter doesn't state the song for which we're awarded (we entered Rings and Fallen Sun) but we are extremely excited and honored. Thanks ASCAP!

This footage was taken in late August 2011 at Studio 9 during pre-production for the forthcoming full-length & live rehearsals, and we think it's surprisingly good A/V for an iPhone 4 camera. That's our good friend producer/engineer Samir Besirevic on the keys/synths!

AoS selected as GRAND PRIZE winner in national songwriting competition

We are honored, proud, ecstatic, and grateful for being selected as the grand prize winner of uPlaya's nationwide songwriting competition, for which we received kudos & an interview on the uPlaya's blog "Inside the Music Universe" as well as a custom Benedetto electric guitar.
